G20 Seminar organized in Amritsar Groups of Colleges
With immense pleasure I want to share with you all that Amritsar Groups of Colleges, Amritsar had successfully organized a seminar on G-20 summit 2023 in its campus on 14th of March 2023. Where we have Er. Shwait Malik Ji — Former Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Former President , BJP , Punjab ; Dr. Raj Kumar Verka ji, Ex Cabinet Minister, Govt. of Punjab, Vice President BJP, Punjab, Vice Chairman, SC Commission, Government of India along with Adv Sh. Amit Sharma (Chairman, AGC) ; Dr Vijay Kumar Banga (Principal AGC) ; Dr. Amit Sarin , Director , IKJPTU, Jalandhar ; Dr. Harpreet Singh Soch , Head Dept of CSE, Govt. Polytechnical, Amritsar, Deans, Heads, faculty and students were present in the seminar. Our worthy Principal Dr. V K Banga Sir welcomed the esteemed dignitaries to come forward and start the seminar. The seminar was organized specifically to make all the student know what is G-20 & what are the importance of G-20 for students. What is G-20?
The G20 (Group of Twenty) is an international forum consisting of 19 countries and the European Union. The members of the G20 are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The G20 was established in 1999 to bring together the world’s major economies to discuss and coordinate on international economic and financial issues. The G20 holds annual summits where leaders of member countries meet to discuss global economic issues and make decisions on policies that affect the world economy.
What was the need of organizing the seminar on G-20 in college campus?
